A growing financial loan and regulatory company is hiring for a system integration & test engineer. We appreciate you taking the time to review the list of qualifications and to apply for the position.

Responsibilities :

  • Collaborates and communicates with management, internal, and outsourced testing and development partners regarding testing status, project progress, test results, and issue resolution
  • Build and execute integration test cases and end-to-end test plans
  • Use SQL for querying backend data and validating test results
  • Work closely with developers, analysts, and QA teams to understand requirements and integration points
  • Log, track, and manage defects in standard tools (e.g., JIRA, etc.)
  • Document results, test data, and contribute to process improvement
  • Participate in regression, integration, and functional testing cycles
  • Ability to work within an Agile development team performing the task of SIT engineer within the team
  • Comprehensive understanding of the product architecture, design, processes, tools, required to perform their assigned design activities
  • Prepare and run test plans including test cases and lab configurations

Qualifications : MUST HAVES :

  • 3+ years of experience in system integration testing or QA
  • Experience with tools or similar tools like :
  • Selenium

  • Postman
  • SoapUI
  • Jira
  • TestRail
  • HP ALM
  • Basic SQL proficiency – ability to write and run queries for data validation
  • Knowledge of data validation processes across complex integration layers
  • Hands-on experience developing and executing integration test plans and test cases
  • Experience performing end-to-end testing across multiple systems
  • Familiarity with QA methodologies and SDLC
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • NICE TO HAVE :

    Basic Salesforce knowledge (e.g., unde rstanding of objects, workflows, or reports)

    Candidates MUST be local to Reston, Virginia.
