HVAC Service Sales Rep

Overview

The Service Sales Representative I is responsible for determining customer needs, developing solutions and estimating work and selling HVAC service agreements for commercial clients. They are meeting sales objectives, developing customer relationships and creating a backlog of work to support short and long-term goals.

Responsibilities

Sources and contacts potential clients weekly, documents and reports on findings accurately, thoroughly and timely.

Updates proposal log regularly.

Works with other team members to generate more work for Services, creates higher profit-margins and maintains margins for both maintenance and proposed work.

Completes customer satisfaction sheets.

Determines customer needs, estimates work, suggests upgrades, and develops / presents solutions based on the companys services offered.

Monitors, reports and meets sales plan goals.

Develops and maintains an active proposal backlog that will support achieving the designed sales plan.

Develops long-term relationships to create brand loyalty.

Thoroughly learns the companys service offerings to explain to clients and persuade sales.

Assists team in creating and carrying out a successful sales strategy.

Qualifications

Must have five (5) years experience in HVAC, Mechanical or related sales, selling owner-direct projects and maintenance agreements.

Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Must be organized and self-motivated with the ability to source leads, make cold calls, follow up calls, and visit potential clients.

Professional manner and appearance.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.

Versed in the industry and the Companys competitors.

Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary.

Bachelor degree in a technical or business discipline preferred or a minimum of 5 years experience with a proven track record in HVAC, Mechanical or related sales.

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Ascending and descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and / or poles.

Climbing stairs.

Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces.

15% of time will be spent traveling to job site(s) / office location.

Pay Range

USD $95,000.00 - USD $115,000.00 / Yr.
