Salary range : $115,000 - $140,000 per year, based on experience.

Location : Carlsbad, CA or Peabody, MA – onsite (Monday-Friday)

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Develop high-performance UI components from wireframes, prototypes, and specifications.
  • Participate in architecture discussions, identify risks, and propose solutions.
  • Conduct code reviews, enforce standards, and ensure architectural consistency.
  • Integrate and validate new designs, troubleshoot issues early.
  • Develop testing strategies to ensure quality and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with teams to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Monitor and optimize application performance and resource usage.
  • Create documentation and diagrams for maintainability.
  • Implement and uphold department policies and standards.
  • Communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Support and execute organizational procedures.
  • Handle project-based assignments as needed.

Qualifications :

  • BSc in Computer Science or Engineering.
  • At least 4 years of Android UI development experience.
  • At least 3 years working with Kotlin, OOP, coroutines, Flow API.
  • At least 2 years using AndroidX Jetpack Compose with advanced knowledge.

    • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

  • Expertise in performance profiling and optimization.
  • Experience with TDD, unit, and UI testing with high coverage.
  • Proficiency in Android Studio, debugging, and design patterns.
  • Experience with build processes, CI / CD, version control, Agile, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Strong ownership, problem-solving skills, and experience with embedded Android environments.

    • Physical Requirements :

  • Sitting, talking, hearing, manual dexterity, and mobility required.

    • Working Conditions :

  • Office environment with moderate noise and controlled temperature.
