Locum Physician (MD / DO) - Emergency Medicine in Augusta, GA

Profession : Physician Specialty : Emergency Medicine Job Type : Locums Facility Location : Augusta, GA Service Setting : Outpatient Coverage Period : ASAP - Ongoing Shift Schedule : 7am-5pm, 11am-9pm, 3pm-1am, 10pm-8am Admissions : Yes % of Practice : 95% Direct Patient Care, 5% Administrative Duties Support Staff : PAs, NPs, RNs, LPNs, Health Technicians, Medical Support Staff Clerks Procedures : - Central venous line placement - Arterial catheter placement - Emergency chest tube or needle thoracostomy - Peritoneal lavage - Defibrillation and synchronized cardioversion, - endotracheal intubation, - lumbar puncture, proctoscopy / anoscopy - Pericardiocentesis - Simple closed fracture and dislocation reduction, - Arthrocentesis, - Local / regional anesthesia, moderate and / or deep procedural sedation - Pericardiocentesis - Temporary pacemaker placement - Chest tube thoracostomy and cricothyroidotomy. Office Equipment : Office space, telephones, pagers, work-stations and computers.
