The Cardiology Physician provides specialized cardiovascularhealth care services to patients within the scope of their license. This roleinvolves performing cardiovascular examinations, diagnostic testing,assessments and screenings, prescribing treatments, and instructing patientsand family members on cardiovascular conditions and treatment options, as wellas other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements :
Graduation for an accredited medical school as a MedicalDoctorate (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO).
Licensed as a Cardiology Physician by the state in which theprovider is practicing.
Board Certification in Cardiology by a nationally accreditedmedical organization (e.g., American Board of Internal Medicine - ABIM) ispreferred unless required by contract.
Specialty Certification as per client request and / or stateregulations if applicable.
One year of experience as a Cardiology Physician preferred.
Role may require collaboration with advanced practitionersper state / facility requirements.
Current CPR if applicable
TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice under licensure and scope.
