Position Overview
The Geospatial Data Analyst is responsible for evaluating, validating, and documenting tower and ground-based asset information using 3D modeling tools and aerial imagery. This role ensures data accuracy across internal systems, identifies discrepancies between physical installations and lease agreements, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to maintain the integrity of asset data.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize 3D modeling applications to inspect and analyze aerial photographs of towers and related ground assets.
- Validate tower attributes such as coordinates, structural dimensions, and height to ensure compliance with business tolerances.
- Create and maintain geospatial objects within the 3D environment and establish relationships between objects and system data.
- Conduct detailed inventories of customer equipment, identifying discrepancies between lease agreements and actual on-site installations.
- Review photographic data to identify key tower and site elements and update internal systems based on findings.
- Validate asset data across internal databases, adhering to established data quality standards and reporting discrepancies.
- Assess deliverables from cross-functional teams and collaborate with field representatives to refine and validate asset data.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders across multiple departments.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational goals.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree required, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.Experience & Skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook required.Experience interpreting legal documents—particularly real estate leases and contracts—preferred.Prior experience with geospatial tools, 3D modeling platforms, or asset management systems is a plus.
