About the Role

Were hiring an Accounting Manager on behalf of our client, a well-established structural engineering firm based in San Francisco. This hybrid role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional with a strong foundation in financial reporting, compliance, and project accounting. Youll lead core financial operations across U.S. and Mexico offices and support strategic initiatives for continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee accounting operations including payroll, A / P, A / R, and intercompany transactions
  • Manage consolidated financial statements, journal entries, and account reconciliations
  • Ensure tax and audit compliance across business and property filings
  • Supervise client invoicing and revenue projections; maintain fixed assets and lease registers
  • Lead improvements in accounting procedures and support budgeting efforts

What Were Looking For

  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including team leadership
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
  • Proficient in U.S. GAAP, consolidations, and transfer pricing
  • Skilled in Excel and accounting systems (AEC360 experience a plus)
  • Strong communication, organizational, and team management abilities
  • Experience with project accounting is highly desirable
