Founded in 1999, DTG Recycle is the largest recycler of commercial, industrial, construction, and demolition materials in the Pacific Northwest.

DTG Recycle’s Sorter is a great entry level position at our sites!

Duties / Responsibilities :

Work on a conveyor belt system to sort materials efficiently.
Identify each material and ensure it is directed to the correct area for further processing.
Assist coworkers with heavy items.
Maintains a safe work environment.
Follows all standard safety procedures while always wearing required PPE.
Perform general labor duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Abilities :

Ability to communicate verbally with team members and supervisors.

Be able to stand, bend, walk, and sit for up to 10 hours a day. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Have access to reliable transportation.

Produce work with quick turnaround times.

Must be willing to work overtime as needed.

Ability to use small hand tools (i.e., box cutters and wire cutters.)

Exposure to year-round weather.
