Job Responsibilities
- Conduct independent due diligence reviews of credit proposals, ensuring adherence to firm policies and regulatory requirements
- Identify, categorize, and escalate exceptions and errors, ensuring timely remediation and clear communication with stakeholders
- Analyze client documentation and credit data to validate accuracy of grading, collateral, and risk assessments
- Participate in targeted reviews and special projects as directed by senior risk leadership
- Collaborate with team members to identify emerging trends, process gaps, and opportunities for improvement
- Prepare and deliver clear, actionable reports and presentations for senior leaders and stakeholders
- Engage in ongoing training and professional development to maintain subject matter expertise
- Foster a culture of proactive risk management and continuous improvement within the team
- Contribute to cross-functional initiatives and regulatory or policy projects as needed
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or relevant experience4 years of experience in credit risk, credit analysis, or a related risk management functionDemonstrated knowledge of credit risk principles, policies, and regulatory requirementsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracyExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings to senior stakeholdersAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentCommitment to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and confidentialityPreferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
