An excellent opportunity exists within the Material Estimating Organization as a Senior Manager Estimating and Pricing. The estimating organization is responsible for the preparation of various types of proposals for development production and competitive contracts including modifications to existing addition the Estimating Organization supports gate reviews government audits and negotiations with the customer.

What You Will Do

• Proactively manage / support all material estimating activities across assigned SBU in excess of $1.0B in material proposed annually
• Develop creative strategic approaches to product pricing with an emphasis on affordability (ensures approach is consistent with affordability targets and adequately described in proposals)
• Proactively communicate priorities / requirements to Program Contracts and SCM Directors (as appropriate to ensure alignment and the overall proposal process is efficient and functional inputs are timely) for the entire SBU
• Continuously assess current and future proposal requirements to ensure resources are available
• Deploy and rebalance team as needed to ensure all program proposal needs are adequately supported
• Independently ensure compliance with FAR and internal estimating requirements (primarily FAR 15.408 Table 15-2)
• Conduct performance reviews provide guidance and other appropriate supporting duties to direct reports

The salary range for this role is 124000 USD - 250000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education / training and key skills.
