What you’ll do :
- Process applications and check eligibility for housing programs.
- Help with re-certifications, rent adjustments, moves, and more.
- Keep participant files organized and assist the public with questions.
- Learn the ins and outs of federal housing programs (HUD rules included!).
- Coordinate with teammates, supervisors, and other departments to keep things running smoothly.
Qualifications :
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.Must obtain Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Specialist certification within one year of hire.Two years of experience in public-facing or customer service roles.Accounting, mortgage processing, or direct customer service experience is a plus.Experience beyond the minimum may substitute for part of the educational requirement.Knowledge of HCV program requirements, policies, or procedures is preferred.Strong computer skills.Excellent organizational, analytical, and math skills.Perks :
