Personal Trainer / Activities Director

Be a part of something special! Exercise and activities are a key part of our first ever in the Midwest program to reverse the effects of Alzheimer’s Disease!

We are looking for an energetic motivator to lead our exercise and activities program! The ideal candidate will inspire our residents with the vigor of a personal trainer, as well as stimulate their minds with fun and challenging activities!

We provide the space, food, staff, amenities, and experience to implement the lifestyle changes necessary to support cognitive health. Our safe, respectful, full service senior home is designed to target the disease process. We offer an experience encompassing the best-in-class strategies currently known to have the ability to support brain function.

Duties

• Plan and print activities calendar for upcoming month, and then follow that schedule as planned.
• Plan creative and fun activities to do with residents daily that keep them engaged.
• Plan and coordinate with entertainment vendors.
• Plan light weight, resistance band, and balance training per the resident’s mobility and strength.
• Lead resident’s individual exercise program.
• Continually assess resident capability, do they need to be challenged more or less?
• Oversee caregivers helping with activities.
• Plan and coordinate any fun resident outings in small groups.
