Behavioral Health Billing Specialist

A company is looking for a Behavioral Health Billing Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

Enter and verify patient demographics, insurance details, and charges for accuracy

Review documentation to ensure services are billable and meet payer requirements

Ensure timely and compliant submission of claims to payers and address charge entry-related rejections

Required Qualifications

Minimum of two years' experience in behavioral health billing or related field

Experience in CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 coding

Knowledge of EMR / EHR systems, particularly Kipu and BestNotes, is highly preferred

Ability to manage critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Proficient in Microsoft Office
