Job Description

Location : Lansing, MI.

Pay : $16.00 / hour (paid weekly)

Shifts :

  • 1st : 6 : 30am–2 : 30pm
  • 2nd : 2 : 30pm–10 : 30pm
  • 3rd : 10 : 30pm–6 : 30am

Overtime : Mandatory on most Saturdays

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections on incoming, in process, and finished automotive parts.
  • Identify non conforming material; tag, segregate, and document defects per company procedures.
  • Conduct minor rework / repairs when allowable (e.g., light sanding, trimming, component swaps).
  • Communicate issues immediately to quality and production supervisors to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain a clean, safe 5S work area and follow all PPE and safety rules.

    • Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 6+ months in quality inspection, production, or warehouse work (automotive preferred).
  • Comfortable standing, bending, and lifting up to 30lbs for an 8 hour shift.
  • Basic math, reading, and data entry skills; ability to complete inspection logs legibly.
  • Willingness to work Saturdays and rotate shifts if business needs change.
