Shifts : 1st-5 : 30am or 6 : 00am-2pm or 2 : 30pm
2nd- 4 : 30pm or 5 : 30pm-2am or 3am.
Position Summary :
The Team Lead Quality Inspection is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of the quality inspection team to ensure that all products and processes meet customer and regulatory requirements. This role includes managing day-to-day inspection operations, training team members, ensuring adherence to inspection protocols, and acting as a liaison between inspectors, management, and customers.
Key Responsibilities :
- Supervise and lead a team of quality inspectors across multiple projects and shifts.
- Assign inspection tasks based on workload, deadlines, and skill levels.
- Ensure inspections are performed in accordance with established procedures, standards, and customer requirements.
- Review inspection reports and documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Provide hands-on support for complex inspections and troubleshooting quality issues.
- Train and mentor new and existing inspectors in quality standards, tools, and best practices.
- Coordinate with internal departments (production, engineering, logistics) to resolve quality-related issues.
- Communicate non-conformances and quality concerns to management and customers as needed.
- Participate in internal audits and assist with corrective / preventive action plans.
- Forklift Experience is Required.
- Monitor and maintain inspection tools and equipment, ensuring calibration and proper usage.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and recommend process enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and company policies.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification in Quality Control / Assurance preferred.Minimum of 2+ years of experience in quality inspection, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role.Strong understanding of quality inspection techniques, tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges), and standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949).Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.Proficient in Microsoft Office and inspection / reporting software.Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.Able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.Physical Requirements :
