Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting pharmacists in delivering high-quality patient care within a clinical setting. This position requires strong communication skills, a commitment to patient service, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Working well in a team, as a lead, is essential. Most importantly, must follow the existing policies and procedures and make excellent recommendations, if identified.

Duties

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, immunizations, and other critical care treatments.
• Maintain accurate patient records and medication administration logs, ensuring compliance with medical terminology and regulations.
• Perform aseptic techniques to ensure the safe preparation of sterile products.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care and support medication therapy management.
• Educate patients, listen to their needs, and produce the correct outcome.
• Monitor inventory levels of medications and supplies, placing orders as necessary to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Participate in quality assurance initiatives to enhance pharmacy operations and patient safety.
• Commit to 100 % accurate, safe, precise, patient-centric medication management and also think about and make suggestions about constant quality improvement.
• Must think of one person (as a whole entity) at a time. This includes their complete medication regimen and health...their family, children, parents, pets, and more!
• Must think of how you can allevite burdens the patient may be going through and make their life easier and take action steps as the person is ready.
