Welder Apprentice Come join a global leader in pipe joining solutions!

Expectations :   WITHIN 30 DAYS OF EMPLOYEMENT, EMPLOYEE MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A HORIZONTAL AND VERTICAL MULTI-PASS FILLET WELD TEST WITH FLUX CORED ARC PROCESS. TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Actively participate in training program to develop welding skills and knowledge.
• Ensure all welds are clean, grinded and inspected; repair welds if necessary before moving product to next operation
• All welds to be performed according to drawings and / or instructions.
• Ensure that all inspection record and other record requirement are filled out neatly and correctly and returned to supervisor at the end of work day
• Ensure work is carried out in accordance with established company procedures
• Make sure that welding machine calibration sticker is up date
• Maintain a neat and clean workplace; comply with any FEM and LEAN manufacturing principles
• Immediately report any unsafe equipment to supervisor, lock out equipment until repairs can be performed
• Adhere to company policies and safety procedures
• Use flame cutting equipment if instructed
