Title : Scheduling Manager
Exemption Status : Exempt
About the Role
The Scheduling manager is responsible for providing support and guidance to in planning, developing, updating and analysis of the project schedules, from pursuit through commission and turnover to the owner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction or equivalent years of experience in Scheduling
- Minimum 8 years of relevant construction experience with a focus on vertical construction projects
- Proven experience managing and supporting multiple large-scale commercial construction projects concurrently, including project schedules for builds exceeding $150 million in value
- Knowledge of LEAN construction principles and Last Planner System is preferred
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 at an intermediate to advanced level is required
- Prove track record performing project duties in both field operations and project engineering
- Thorough knowledge and experience in planning and developing schedules for Commercial and Healthcare projects
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all level
- Ability to respond quickly and efficiently in a timely manner to all deadlines and issues
- Proficiency with computer applications and scheduling related tools including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and etc.
Primary Duties
Develop and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6Collaborate with pre-construction, project management, and field operations teams to establish realistic and achievable project timelinesAnalyze project plans and specifications to determine appropriate schedule logic, sequencing, and resource requirementsFacilitate pull planning sessions, look-ahead schedules, and schedule updates throughout the life cycle of the projectGenerate critical path analysis, recovery plans, and "what-if" scenarios to mitigate risks and avoid delaysProvide monthly schedule reports, including progress analysis, earned value tracking, and forecastEnsure alignment between cost, schedule, and resource planning effortsSupport project pursuit teams with high-level milestone schedules and pre-construction planning inputMaintain a database of historical schedules to support benchmarking and continuous improvementDevelop best practices, standards and proceduresProvide support and training in the use of project and scheduling software to office and jobsite staffPhysical Requirements
Must be physically fit enough to function safely on a project site and office setting. This includes the following :
