SOME KEY DUTIES INCLUDE
Backlog Management
- Maintain backlog of work in Jira for Full Stack Team
- Work with other(s) to maintain priorities of backlog items
- Groom backlog to make sure items are up to date and backlog only has relevant items
Resource Management
Ensure that prioritized tickets with deadlines meet their targetsEnsure that Full Stack Dev Team has workable ticketsKeep overview of team status to understand if tickets are on track with estimatesRun daily standup to get clarity on status of team membersRemove blockers for team (directly or indirectly)Maintain general understanding of team and individual member velocityRelease Management
Work with other(s) to plan and schedule releasesTrack work to ensure timely release of planned itemsDocument Release schedules and tickets in the releaseCommunicate with other(s) for releases to ensure proper communication goes outEnsure that work meets requirements (should be reviewed iteratively in order to course correct early)Client Work
Potential client items that are less technical in nature than pure programmingWhen support requests make it to dev, determine urgency and effort, create tickets and communicate with other(s)Requirement Gathering and Communication
Working closely with / for the VP of Product, Lead Software Architect, the Full Stack developers, and others on various teamsGather requirements from client calls and other sourcesWork with other(s) to get priorities of gathered requirementsWork with other(s) to get time based estimatesQUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
5+ years of experience minimum in Software / Technical Project ManagementUnderstanding and experience with software development life cycleStrong teamwork skillsExperience with Jira / Confluence strongly preferredAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree a strong plusPMP or CSM certifications a strong plusServant-leadership, looking for way to help the team be successfulResponsibleOrganizedGreat communicator (verbal and written)BENEFITS AND PERKS
