Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursing Home Administrator to oversee the daily operations of our facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in senior care, particularly in areas such as memory care and long-term care. The Nursing Home Administrator will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations, managing staff, and fostering a positive environment for both residents and employees.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of facility operations, including staffing, budgeting, and compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Manage daily operations to ensure the highest standards of care for residents in assisted living and long-term care settings.
  • Supervise and support nursing staff in medication administration and other clinical practices.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures that enhance the quality of resident care.
  • Collaborate with social workers to address the needs of residents and their families effectively.
  • Maintain financial oversight, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture that promotes teamwork, professional development, and employee satisfaction.
  • Ensure that all staff are trained in best practices for memory care and senior living services.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in operations management within a nursing home or similar healthcare setting.
  • Strong understanding of senior care principles, including memory care practices.
  • Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
  • Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and resource management.
  • Knowledge of medication administration protocols and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Background in social work or related fields is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, staff, and regulatory agencies.
  • A valid nursing home administrator license or certification as required by state regulations.
