Summary : The Instructional Designer will support the area of Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI). This position will work collaboratively with internal staff and external partners to create content for web-based courses, in-person workshops, and educational tools. This position will also utilize the LMS to build courses and measure training effectiveness. Working with content experts, this position will create a portfolio of coursework that includes practice exercises, knowledge checks, and other elements designed to drive knowledge retention for adult learners around the surgical care of patients.
This exempt position will report to the Instructional Design Manager in the Division of Research and Optimal Patient Care. It is based in our Chicago office and is a hybrid role : 3 days per week in the office / 2 days per week remote.
The anticipated salary range for this position is $68,000 - $78,500 (commensurate with related experience). Applicants must submit a portfolio of work for consideration.
