Job Description
As a Program Coordinator (PC), you’ll play a vital role in assisting program operations, maintaining compliance, and ensuring the smooth execution of services. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to :
- Assist the Program Director in ensuring consistent, high-quality programming
- Step in as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) when needed to ensure continuity of care
- Assist with goal tracking and progress repots
- Oversee daily documentation, ensuring accuracy in individual records, ISP updates, and data tracking
- Plan and schedule engaging program services, recreation, and activities
- Coach and support our dedicated staff
- Support staff in accurate documentation and program execution
- Provide hands-on coaching to individuals in skill-building and community integration
- Assist with finances
- Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams
- Assist with facility management to ensure a safe and supportive environment
This is a driving position, must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
The Program Coordinator reports directly to the Program Director. While this role is not a supervisory role, the PC takes the lead to ensure optimal flow and direction of the facility.

Bachelors degree in Human Services, Special Education, or related field is preferred . Or, equivalent training / experience in disability services will be consideredAt least 1 year of experience in disability services, adult education, or community-based programs, preferably in a day program or vocational settingExperience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, such as intellectual disability, cerebral palsy, autism, epilepsyExcellent communication and problem solving skillsAdaptable and creativeOrganized with excellent time management capabilitiesConfident and strong communicatorPositive role model; able to lead, coach, and supportTech savvyValid driver’s license and acceptable driving recordHighschool Diploma or GEDMust be 21 years or olderAbility to lift and transfer 50 lbs.Additional Information
