Project Accountant

A company is looking for a Project Accounting Analyst to join their Accounting team. Key Responsibilities Handle financial tasks for assigned consulting projects and programs, coordinating with team members and external stakeholders Monitor and maintain contract funding, perform variance analysis, and prepare financial reports Assist with project journal entries and reconcile project details across financial systems Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience 2-4 years of experience in an accounting or financial analyst role Experience with accounting software systems such as NetSuite and Certinia Knowledge of revenue recognition and accrual accounting Experience with government contracting requirements is a plus
