Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Full-time Class A CDL Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operating flatbed trucks, unloading cargo, and operating forklifts. Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and drive flatbed trucks safely and efficiently to transport various types of cargo
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with DOT regulations
  • Secure and protect cargo using appropriate tie-down techniques and equipment
  • Unload cargo at designated locations using proper techniques and equipment
  • Operate forklifts to load and unload materials when necessary
  • Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and cargo information
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
  • Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on the vehicle
  • Manage route planning and navigation to ensure timely deliveries

As a Full-time Class A CDL Driver specializing in flatbed trucks, you will be responsible for :

  • Safely operating and maneuvering flatbed trucks in various road conditions and environments
  • Ensuring proper weight distribution and load securement to maintain vehicle stability
  • Adapting driving techniques to accommodate different types of cargo and road conditions
  • Monitoring weather conditions and adjusting driving strategies accordingly
  • Maintaining a clean and organized truck cab and flatbed area
