What You'll Do

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential security-related concerns.

Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.

Assist law enforcement or emergency personnel as needed during incidents occurring on the premises.

Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious behavior.

Communicate clearly and promptly with team members, supervisors, and site contacts regarding security-related matters.

Remain alert and observant to changing conditions or situations within the government location.

Minimum Requirements

Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Baton certification is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

A valid guard card or license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
