Certified Coding Audit Specialist

A company is looking for a Coding Audit Response Specialist. Key Responsibilities Respond to external and internal audits for outpatient services, assessing coding accuracy Support the Corporate Coding Audit Response Lead by managing coding and charging issues, including claim denials Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to improve coding processes and workflows Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor's Degree preferred Minimum of three years' coding experience in an acute care facility required Licensure / certification in CCS, CCS-P, CPC, or equivalent required Extensive knowledge of ICD-10-CM / PCS and CPT coding principles required Experience with auditing for DRG assignment or CPT / APC assignment preferred
