Physical Therapist- Float

Gillette Children's is seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist for a Float Pool role. Join a dedicated team of rehabilitation professionals to provide exceptional rehabilitation care to the patients and families of Gillette. The physical therapist position is based out of our Burnsville clinic and involves outpatient and inpatient coverage across the entire department and Twin Cities locations, including Maple Grove, Burnsville, & St Paul. The hours vary between 7 : 30am-6 : 30pm, Monday-Friday and occasional weekend coverage rotation.

Purpose of Position

Provides direct and indirect family centered therapy services for patients to increase functional abilities, independence and community integration. Contributes to department, program and service teams to assure achievement of desired outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits Information

The hourly wage for this opportunity is $36.45 to $54.64, with a median wage of $45.54 / hour. Pay is dependent on several factors including relevant work experience, education, certification & licensure, and internal equity. Hourly pay just one part of the compensation package for employees. • Completes an evaluation utilizing principles of family-centered care.
• Implements a therapy care plan utilizing principles of family-centered care.
• Completes necessary administrative and procedural tasks in a timely manner.
• Completes training in essential job competencies.

Qualifications

Required :

Physical Therapy State License

Knowledge : transition from pediatric to adult health and rehabilitation care and of rehabilitation practice for adults with Childhood onset disabilities.
