Inventory Control Lead

TestEquity is seeking for a competent and energetic Inventory Control Team Lead to lead, monitor and report on the company’s inventory. This position will be responsible for working with the Inventory Control Supervisor to lead the Inventory Control Team in all daily tasks, as well as fill in for the Supervisor when needed. Applicants should have experience with cross-function communication as they will coordinate with the Warehouse, Purchasing, Sales, and Finance teams.

The successful incumbent will be a reliable professional with excellent record-keeping and investigative abilities while having a strong attention to detail and solid business acumen. The goal is to ensure that all business operations have adequate material to achieve their objectives.

Essential Job Functions :

• Manage inventory and production reports through WMS for efficiency improvement opportunities.
• Oversee the creation of new primary pick locations.
• Maintain inventory by making adjustments in CSD.
• Use CSD to print and execute cycle counts.
• Assist departments outside of the Inventory Control Team when necessary to achieve operational goals
• Work with internal departments to ensure inventory discrepancies and order-related errors are resolved quickly
• Review the logistics of inventory and equipment management to ensure adequate product availability.
• Participate in all compliance audits for SOX regulations
• Review and maintain inventory database using CSD.
• Oversee day-to-day functions of the Inventory Control Team.
• Developing and implementing lean strategies for inventory control systems and practices
• Participate in reviews of standard operating procedures to ensure maximum efficiency
