Senior Tax Accountant

Location : Miami, FL - In office

Salary : $90-110k + bonus

What the Senior Tax Accountant will do…

  • Assist with the preparation of the federal consolidated tax return
  • Prepare federal and state partnership and LLC tax returns
  • Prepare and review multistate income and franchise tax returns (combined / unitary as well as separate state income tax returns)
  • Assist with the preparation and review of the Company's consolidated quarterly and annual income tax provision calculations
  • Assist with IRS and state tax authority audits
  • Assist with the preparation and review of quarterly estimated income tax payments
  • Perform tax research and analysis on special projects as needed
  • Identify and implement federal and state tax planning opportunities
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of diverse US federal and state & local tax legislation and US GAAP financial statement reporting requirements for taxes (ASC 740)

    • What the company needs in an Senior Tax Accountant :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, 3.0 GPA or higher
  • CPA is a big PLUS
  • 1-3 years experience in tax in public accounting or corporate tax
  • Self-starter, communicator, good interpersonal skills
