We are looking for a Project Estimator to join our Beltsville, MD team!
As a Project Estimator at Fidelity Mechanical Services, your primary responsibilities will be :
- Developing detailed estimates and proposals for mechanical construction projects.
- Obtaining and evaluating vendor and subcontractor pricing for compliance with project specifications and drawings.
- Attend pre-bid meetings, verify site conditions, and interface with Owners, Developers, and General Contractors.
- Managing the bid preparation and formal written proposal process.
- Maintaining records of all working documents and data to back up estimates and proposals.
- Assisting, organizing, and prioritizing work in conjunction with sales engineers.
As a Project Estimator at Fidelity Mechanical Services, you should have the following qualifications, knowledge, skills, and abilities :
3 to 5 years of preparing estimates and proposals for commercial, industrial, and / or municipal mechanical projects.Must have the ability to provide a complete commercial mechanical construction estimate and proposal for either plan / spec or design / build projects, including plumbing, HVAC, and sheet metal work.Must be knowledgeable with reading and interpreting blueprints and / or specifications.Ability to survey mechanical systems, and interpret drawings, equipment, and job conditions.Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.As a Valued Member of Our Team, You Would Receive :

Salary of $60,000 - $95,000 per yearCommensurate with experience.
