Registered Behavior Technicians for Torrance USD with Weekly Pay!

Expectations :

Must be able to build rapport with students and staff, as well as remain flexible and professional at all times

Provide instructional and behavioral support as needed to the teacher and classroom staff

Have a strong foundational knowledge of ABA principles (e.g., identifying functions of behavior, implementing preventative strategies, prompting functional communication)

Be familiar with common data collection methods (e.g., frequency, duration)

Be able to quickly review a student's IEP or BIP for further guidance on individualized behavior management strategies and goals

Utilize visual supports without being explicitly told (e.g., visual schedule, token board)

Duties may include assisting students with toileting, bathroom routines, diaper / brief changing

Qualifications :

2+ years (preferred) as a Behavioral Technician / Therapist / Interventionist

2+ years of ABA experience (preferred)

Experience working with a range of behaviors (e.g. mild / moderate, moderate / severe)

Minimum education requirement is a HS diploma

RBT Certification (required)

NOTE : The position is an ongoing assignment (Monday-Friday) and ranges ~30-35 hours per week. The starting pay rate ~25+ per hour (dependent on skills, qualifications, and experience).
