Swing Shift Packer

We are seeking a dedicated Swing Shift Packer with experience in sit down forklifting and packing. The role involves cutting rolls of paper to the specified length and packing them for shipment. While forklift experience is preferred and compensated accordingly, the primary focus will be on packing tasks with forklift duties commencing after approximately five months. The position operates during the day shift from 2 PM to 10 PM and includes a paid lunch break.

Responsibilities

  • Cut rolls of paper to specified lengths.
  • Pack paper products for shipment.
  • Operate sit down forklifts as required after initial training period.
  • Maintain communication and integrity in daily tasks.
  • Display dependability and a positive attitude.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in production and packing.
  • Ability to perform general labor tasks.
  • Capability to operate sit down forklifts and machines.

    • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in production is necessary.
  • Experience in packaging, picking, and working on a production line.

    Work Environment

    The role is set in a clean manufacturing environment that can become very hot during the summer. The work is physically demanding but offers a structured and professional setting.

    Job Type & Location

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kent, Washington.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $23.50 - $23.50 / hr.
