About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Booking to join their senior leadership team. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and implementing the strategic vision for event programming at the venue, with a primary focus on maximizing revenue and enhancing the national and global reputation of the facility. This executive-level role involves leading the entire booking process, from business development to deal negotiation and long-range calendar planning. The VP of Booking will also be tasked with cultivating and managing high-level relationships with top-tier promoters, agents, producers, and content partners in the live events industry. Collaboration with internal departments is essential to ensure the seamless execution of all booked events. Applicants for the Vice President of Booking position at the company should have a minimum of a BA / BS degree, with an advanced degree preferred, and at least 10 years' progressive experience in live entertainment, sports, or venue booking. The role requires a deep understanding of the facility management industry, including various event types and contract negotiation. The ideal candidate will have excellent people skills, be highly organized, and possess exceptional project management abilities. A self-starter with the capacity to work under minimal supervision, the VP of Booking must be resourceful, a quick learner, and capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are also essential, as is the flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
