Forklift Operator Position

To be considered you must have :

6+ months of verifiable experience within the last 2 years on specified forklift

We are currently hiring for 1st & 3rd shift Forklift Operators for a cold storage distribution facility in Murfreesboro, TN. These positions are temp-to hire with good attendance and production. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of forklift experience. Must be able to provide a certification or verifiable reference.

Forklift Operator compensation and hours :

  • 21 - $24 an hour depending on shift
  • Additional $2 Attendance Stimulus Bonus!
  • Day Shift 1 : 6 : 00 a.m. to 6 : 00 p.m. (Sunday to Wednesday)
  • Day Shift 2 : 6 : 00 a.m. to 6 : 00 p.m. (Wednesday to Saturday)
  • Night Shift 1 : 6 : 00 p.m. to 6 : 00 a.m. (Sunday to Wednesday)
  • Night Shift 2 : 6 : 00 p.m. to 6 : 00 a.m. (Wednesday to Saturday)

    • Forklift Operator skills and qualifications :

  • 1 year of experience operating forklifts (sit down and stand up)
  • Ability to work in freezer environment

    • Forklift Operator duties and responsibilities :

  • Safely operate a forklift to move, stack, and load goods within a cold storage facility, ensuring proper handling of products in low-temperature environments.
  • Assist with inventory control by accurately recording and tracking the movement of goods. Ensure that items are stored in the correct locations and maintain accurate records of inventory levels.
  • Load and unload goods from trucks or containers, making sure to handle products carefully to prevent damage and maintain temperature integrity.
  • Regularly check and monitor the temperature of storage areas to ensure that it remains within required ranges. Report any temperature deviations or malfunctions in refrigeration systems.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following guidelines for operating in cold environments.
  • Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on the forklift to ensure it is in good working condition. Report any mechanical issues or malfunctions to the maintenance team.
