We are seeking a Senior Python Developer with strong expertise in data processing, ETL pipeline design, and automation . This role requires hands-on development experience with Python for handling large and complex datasets, building reliable data flows, and integrating with enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with both structured and unstructured data, applying best practices in performance, testing, and maintainability.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize data processing workflows using Python.

Build and maintain ETL pipelines for batch and real-time data ingestion and transformation.

Integrate data pipelines with enterprise systems and external APIs.

Work with structured (CSV, JSON, Parquet) and unstructured data at scale.

Leverage Python libraries such as Pandas, Dask, PySpark, or NumPy for data manipulation and analysis.

Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI / CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Tekton, or GitHub Actions .

Deploy and test solutions in Linux / Unix environments, including z / OS USS when applicable.

Ensure data governance, security, and compliance best practices.

Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical design discussions.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of professional experience in Python development, with a focus on data engineering and processing .

Strong knowledge of Pandas, Dask, PySpark , or similar frameworks.

Hands-on experience building and scaling ETL / ELT pipelines.

Strong understanding of software engineering principles : version control (Git), unit testing, and documentation.

Preferred Skills

Experience with mainframe integration (JCL, USS) .
