Registered Dental Hygienist

About the Position

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Tennessee licensed Dental Hygienist to join our team. This role is essential in helping patients maintain excellent oral health through preventive care, education, and support during dental treatments. Key Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and ensure a comfortable and positive experience
• Sterilize, prepare, and maintain dental instruments and equipment
• Conduct initial oral health screenings and review patient histories
• Identify oral conditions such as gingivitis, caries, and periodontitis
• Perform routine cleanings, remove plaque and calculus, and apply fluoride treatments
• Educate patients of all ages on proper oral hygiene and preventive care
• Provide post-procedure and post-operative instructions
• Take dental X-rays and impressions when needed
• Assist the dentist in selecting appropriate treatment options, including oral cancer screenings
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient charts and documentation
• Monitor and manage clinical supplies
