The state-of-the-art facility will have an eight-bed adolescent unit, 24 bed adult unit and 12 bed geropsychiatry unit. The group provides inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services to include both adult, child and adolescent services, a robust consultation liaison service for the hospital, a MAT program and medical education. The Department is involved in teaching family practice residents, medical students, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and social work interns. A psychiatric residency program will be initiated once the hospital is built. An ECT program will be added.The psychiatrist will be evaluating and treating a general adult population. Anticipated patient load would be 18-20 patients per day. Weekday call is currently being handled. Weekend call will be estimated to be 1 : 8. This will involve rounding on the inpatient units and seeing psychiatry consults in the Medical Center. Suboxone certification is preferred but not required. There is a robust multidisciplinary opioid narcotic recovery program using medically assisted treatment. Conceivably, 1 / 2-day out of the week could be spent treating this population. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry Ability to have PA state medical license Great at relationship building, both with patients and colleagues H1B / J1 Visa if necessary
