Up to $95,000 annually (based on experience)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced

Accounting Manager

to join our nonprofit organization in North Nashville. This role is essential to maintaining the financial health and transparency of our mission-driven work.

Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager :

Oversee all aspects of bookkeeping including accounts payable / receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations

Prepare monthly financial statements and assist with budgeting and grant reporting

Maintain accurate records using QuickBooks or similar accounting software

Ensure compliance with nonprofit financial regulations

Support annual audits and 990 preparation

Qualifications for the Accounting Manager :

Proven experience as an

Accounting Manager , preferably in a nonprofit setting

Strong understanding of GAAP and nonprofit accounting principles

Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel

Excellent organizational and communication skills

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Preferred Skills for the Accounting Manager :

Experience with grant tracking and restricted funds

Familiarity with donor management systems

Passion for community-focused work
