job_description.job_card.job_descriptionAssociate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or more than two years’ experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrate proficiency to work in computer-aided drafting, AutoCAD. Experience with residential structural drafting (single-family, multi-family) a plus. Understanding design drawings and producing construction documents. Understanding of residential construction. Working knowledge of building industry, a plus. Basic Microsoft Office skills. Must be able to pass drug and background screening.
Responsibilities :
- Work directly with Engineering Drafting Manager, Drafting Team, Project Engineers and Project Managers with a mentorship mindset.
- Create and maintain engineering plans (construction documents), elevations, floor, roof, wall details and alike for new construction of single family and multi-family residential projects, based on conceptual designs provided by clients.
- Strong critical thinker, identifies and solves problems in a timely manner, works well with a group, uses common sense and reasoning.
- Willing to make adjustments based on feedback.
- Self-motivated and self-directed to accurately and thoroughly complete projects.
- Balances team and individual responsibilities, gives and welcomes feedback.
