About the Role
The Company is seeking an Assistant Dean for Workforce Development. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of instructional and management duties, including site supervision of nursing program activities, assisting with the implementation of special projects, and ensuring program compliance with regulatory standards. This role involves close collaboration with the Dean in all aspects of program planning, development, and evaluation, as well as maintaining a teaching load in skills lab, sim lab, and / or clinical settings. The Assistant Dean will also have clinical and faculty responsibilities, participate in student advising, and serve on program committees. Candidates for the Assistant Dean position must have a valid and active Registered Nursing License, with a preference for those holding a master's degree in nursing. A minimum of 1 year of teaching experience in nursing programs and 4 years of continuous experience as a registered nurse in direct patient care are required. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to diversity. Proficiency in technology and experience in supervision, planning, and budget preparation are also essential. The role demands a collaborative leadership style and the ability to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
