Senior Software QA Engineer

Job Description :

A candidate will be responsible for working with development team to deliver high quality, cutting edge storage products. Typical activities include developing automation frameworks and automation, creating test specifications, designing new test cases and troubleshooting / investigating test case failures. As the team expands, the candidate is expected to take on additional responsibilities such as managing multiple QA projects and assisting and mentoring junior QA engineers.

Desired Skills & Experience :

BS or MS degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent 6+ years of software QA experience in enterprise software Strong problem solving skills and excellent communication skills Network fundamentals and configuration Virtualization and its application in quality environments Object storage and / or distributed systems Knowledge of Linux / Unix system configuration and administration Proven skills developing Python / shell scripts in Linux / Unix Investigating and debugging I / O, CPU performance, and network bottlenecks at various scales.
