Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) $130K+ Base + Bonus | Must Have BSN | Leadership Opportunity
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to lead the Department of Clinical Services at our hospital. This is a highly visible leadership role reporting directly to the hospital CEO and the SVP of Clinical Operations. We are looking for a strong, engaged leader who is committed to clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and team development. A current CNO is ideal, but we will consider a highly capable Nursing Manager ready to step up. BSN is required.

Key Responsibilities :
Oversee and direct all nursing and clinical services.Ensure compliance with CMS, Joint Commission, and other regulatory standards.Lead employee engagement initiatives including recruitment, retention, and development.Drive implementation of clinical programs including :Wound care initiativesFall reduction programsBedside reporting and handoff communicationSepsis and delirium screeningMobility and rapid response programsCore clinical bundles (VAP, CVC line, skin care, hourly rounding, etc.)Serve as a key member of the executive team collaborating with CEO, department heads, and medical staff.Conduct regular rounds, staff meetings, and ensure consistent presence across all shifts.Champion quality improvement and patient safety efforts.Mentor charge nurses and clinical leaders to build a high-performing team.Control clinical costs through effective use of resources, contracts, and staffing tools.Minimum Requirements :
BSN requiredMasters degree in Nursing or Healthcare-related field strongly preferred. Will consider candidates actively enrolled in a Master's program.Current RN license in state of practice (or eligibility)BLS certification requiredACLS certification required within 6 months of hire35 years of hospital nursing experience3+ years of leadership experience preferred (Manager or higher)This is an excellent opportunity for a nursing leader ready to make a significant impact at an executive level.
