Sr. Document Control Assistant

As a Sr. Document Control Assistant here at Honeywell, you will be accountable for overseeing the document control process and ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and accessibility of company documents. You will develop and implement document control strategies, policies, and procedures to streamline processes and improve efficiency. The manager will work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive compliance, maintain document standards, and facilitate unbiased business.

You will report directly to our Engineering Manager, and you will work out of our Salem, OR location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will have a direct impact on the company's ability to maintain accurate, accessible, and compliant documentation. Your guidance, expertise in document control, and dedication to excellence will contribute to the company's success, reputation, and growth in the industry.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Oversee the document control process and ensure compliance with document management standards and procedures
  • Develop and implement document control strategies, policies, and procedures
  • Manage the document lifecycle, including creation, review, approval, distribution, and archiving
  • Work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure document accuracy and integrity
  • Ensure document accessibility and availability to authorized personnel
  • Train and facilitate employees on document control processes and systems
  • Monitor and report on document control metrics and performance
