Job Summary and Qualifications
Take responsibility for departmental functions that uphold our mission and values.Make critical decisions adhering to nursing practice standards.Ensure patient safety within surgical services.Utilize effective communication within daily practices.Establish strong partnerships with patients and their families.Enhance continuity and coordination of care across different settings.Deliver quality care meeting the needs of diverse age groups.Develop initiatives and improve processes specific to the Orthopedics-Joint Department.Foster collaborative relationships with all healthcare team members.Manage personnel, budgets, and maintain relationships with physicians.Coordinate and supervise resource allocations.Qualifications : Education :
Graduation from an accredited School of Professional Nursing is required.Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is essential; advanced degrees are preferable.Licensure / Certification :
Current RN license for Texas or compact license is required.Current BLS provider certification is essential.Experience :
