Mental Health Coordinator II / Lead Mental Health Specialist

Job Description

What You’ll Do :

• Provide Hands-On Care : Assist individuals with daily activities like personal care, meal prep, transportation, housekeeping, and laundry, all while fostering independence.
• Support Mental Health & Behavioral Management : Utilize your skills to help individuals overcome behavioral challenges, offering compassionate, person-centered care. Work on tailored outcomes for individuals and work with behavioral guidance plans as needed.
• Create a Safe & Welcoming Environment : Maintain a clean, safe space that ensures comfort and support while helping individuals reach their personal goals.
• Mentor & Guide : Provide supervision, positive reinforcement, and guidance to help individuals achieve their aspirations. Assist with staff scheduling, maintain consisistency in programming, individual care, and communication with staff and support team members.
• Household Management :  Coordinate a variety of services including individual finances, activities, program services, family involvement, educational / vocational programs, health care / nutrition and household management.
