Observer Position At Offutt Air Force Base

Amentum is seeking Observers to perform entry control actions at Offutt Air Force Base. The Observer will ensure adequate observation and physical control of construction workers. Observers may also be utilized for oversight of specialty items off / outside the construction zone, to include oversight when transporting specialty items to and from the construction sites / zone. Additionally, observers will assist with construction zone / site badge issue and control for all / any personnel requiring entry to the construction zone / sites.

Duties / Responsibilities :

• Understand, apply, and adhere to the principles of the Privacy Act, Title 5 of the U.S. Code, Section 552a and applicable rules and regulations.
• Understand, apply, and adhere to the principles of Operations Security (OPSEC) for identifying, controlling, and protecting critical unclassified information per National Security Decision Directive Number 298 and DODD 5205.2 (series) DOD OPSEC Program Manual.
• Meet and deal successfully with the general public.
• Apply printed rules, detailed orders, instructions, and training materials to assigned duties.
• Maintain poise and self-control under stress.
• Conduct "Stop & Question" of persons found in closed and locked areas, parking lots, and throughout the construction site after hours and on weekends / holidays to ensure no criminal activity has or is taking place.
• Construct and write clear, concise, and accurate detailed reports if needed.
