RN Oncology Shift / Schedule - Full Time Nights 3 / 12 hr. shifts 6 : 45 PM - 7 : 15 AM. Requirement- Min of 1 yr. Patient Population : Majority of our patients are of medical, and we have a mixture of medical and surgical oncology patients and occasionally administer IV chemotherapy. Patient Ratios : 1 : 4 Number of Beds : 16 Department Specifics : We are Commission on Cancer recognized hospital and a Sammons Cancer Center, which means that we provide a variety of care for patients that include the availability of Nurse Navigators, Child Life Specialists as well as a fully staffed Supportive and Palliative Care Team. In addition, we strive to get all our nurses' chemotherapy certified within the first 6 months of being an employee.
