Application Specialist

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking an Application Specialist in Phoenix, AZ.Project Information : This role will be for an Application Specialist to directly support operations personal to ensure the completion of daily waste collection using an internal routing tool). The day to day in this role would be answering ServiceNow support tickets, conducting research, and identifying issues within the application. To be successful in this role one will need strong written communication, a sense of urgency, and the curiosity to question irregular data. Your technical responsibilities will be to query data via SQL, understand relational databases, search logs via Splunk, and understand how our applications communicate with internal backend services. This role will also require learning our applications and the need of our internal users.Responsibilities :

• Diagnoses and resolves software application issues of end users promptly and professionally
• Ensures that end users are provided with accurate and effective solutions and that end user support needs are met with a consistently high quality of service
• Engages appropriate IT and business resources to resolve technical issues and support business processes, while updating users on progress toward resolution
• May perform IT-related activities for projects to support company priorities
• Identifies and recommends system modifications to reduce user issues
• Fully documents each issue and resolution using the incident tracking system
• Keeps support desk team, peers, and management apprised of any new support issues in a clear and timely manner
• May document and provide input on processes and procedures for training IT team and end users
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent

Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
