Our client is a NYC-based company in the medical industry, developing custom software to streamline clinical workflows, enhance patient care coordination, and support back-office operations. The company is looking to expand its tech team in Israel.

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer to ensure the stability and reliability of a complex platform that includes admin tools, order workflows, technician portals, and medical dispatching. The role involves designing and executing test plans, identifying and documenting bugs, and collaborating with developers to verify fixes. Experience in both manual and automated testing is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Review requirements and technical specs to develop comprehensive test plans
Write, execute, and maintain manual test cases for frontend and backend functionality
Design and build automated tests for API and UI where appropriate
Log and track defects, and collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues
Perform regression, smoke, and exploratory testing as needed
Validate data integrity, user workflows, and integration with third-party services
Help ensure each release meets quality standards before deployment

Required Skills

4+ years of experience as a QA Engineer in web application environments

Experience testing React / TypeScript frontends and Node.js / NestJS backends

Familiarity with REST APIs and tools like Postman or Insomnia

Ability to write clear and structured test plans and bug reports

Experience with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr, or similar)

Familiarity with automated testing tools such as Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium

Understanding of database interactions and basic SQL for data validation

Exposure to healthcare tech, PACS systems, or HIPAA-compliant software (a plus)

Full time - US hours required

Office based - TBD, hybrid option
