As part of our ongoing growth and expansion, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Software Developer to join our growing team.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Implement geospatial data processing and analysis using PyGeo and related libraries.
- Design and manage relational and / or NoSQL databases to support large-scale data storage and retrieval.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver features on schedule.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance across applications.
- Implement and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and automated deployment pipelines.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.Strong proficiency in Python and building APIs (FastAPI, Flask, or Django REST Framework).Hands-on experience with PyGeo (or similar geospatial Python libraries).Proficient in SQL and database design; experience with PostgreSQL / PostGIS a plus.Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).Strong understanding of version control (Git) and CI / CD practices.Preferred Qualifications
Experience with large geospatial datasets and geoprocessing workflows.Knowledge of containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.Understanding of Agile / Scrum development methodologies.About Lynker
